Diwali

Diwali is known as the "Festival of lights". It is one of the most celebrated festival poem in the country. On this day, people celebrate by lightning diyas, drawing rangolis, cleaning and decoration of homes, wearing new clothes, preparation of sweets in homes, lightning of fireworks and Lakshmi Puja. In nights, buildings and houses are illuminated with earthen lamps, candle sticks and electric lights. Lakshmi Puja is being held in every house in night, and it is believed that goddess Lakshmi in every house which is neat and clean. The festival is celebrated across the country with full joy and enthusiasm.

I hereby today wrote a poem about this beautiful festival, I was so excited to share this with people all across the globe.

Well yes, My mouth is full with sweets while I am writing this one. So, ya.

Clear blue sky,
Scent of flowers,
Colours of Rangoli,
And sound of crackers.

The gifts and sweets from family,
And the getting of their love,
The light of the candles across home,
And the dazzling fireworks up all above.

Lighting lamps at our homes,
Making the less fortunate smile,
Putting on new apparels,
Show our friends style.

Giving respect to gods,
and decorating their place,
this is how beautiful the festival is
This is the spirit of Diwali.
