Unexpected Separation

I never thought this would happen. I'm watching forty years of marriage go down the drain. Addiction to pills has taken control over a wife. Excessive spending in a narcotic state of mind drives them into debt. A husband tolerant of eight years of neglect, overworking himself to run away from the thought of it. He seeks God but may have turned the wrong way. Another woman appears and confuses him to follow her to a secret rendezvous. It seems to be the answer for him, a way out. Words of divorce are now thrown around casually as if it were that easy. I am in disbelief that this is happening. We are all adults here. Parents are supposed to have everything figured out. Well, guess what, "no." People need to work things out and not just close their eyes to the problem. I am facing a battle that I have to deal with and pray that it will be resolved.
