First Time Using Astrodice

So today I was watching a DLive by my good friend @intuitivejakob Click HERE to watch his video on DLive. While watching it I got to thinking about all the tools I have and how I want to learn how best to use them. I think that it was just the energy of the show but I felt the need to pick up my Astrodice.

Now I have never used these before, so this was the first time I was using them. The set is three twelve-sided-dice. A blue die that has the Planets and represents the “What.” A green die that has the Zodiac Signs and represents the “How.” Finally, a purple die that has the House Numbers to represent the “Where.”

So my actual reading was regarding my pursuit of different forms of Divination. As I have been learning both the Tarot and started to work on a book called Astrology for Yourself by Douglas Bloch & Demetra George. Astrology has been a side hobby of mine for years and I feel now is the time to pursue it. Tarot is also in that same vein.

So the role came up with North Node for the Planet, Capricorn for the Zodiac Sign, and the 2nd House.

My “What” is the North Node of the Moon represents the karmic goal that you are working towards in this lifetime. It indicates your soul’s mission. It is suggesting experiences that are in line with your soul’s destiny and from which you can gain advancement in your spiritual development and karmic path. It's speaking of karmic gain and soul growth. For me, this directly connected with my question in pursuing this knowledge as I feel that it is a part of my soul growth. That I am on the right path.

My “How” is in Capricorn which manifests in a responsible, well-ordered manner. It is hard-working and accepts responsibility. It is basically a climbing energy. Sensibly and patiently it works its way gradually to the top. It is not a risk taker and expects no favors, but is organized, managerial and worldly. I think that this is pointing to moving forward with my studies and pursuit of this. That I need to be patient with myself moving forward as there are times I become frustrated when learning.

My “Where” is the 2nd House which is the area of life that concerns your Resources. It deals primarily with the issue of Money and Possessions. It describes your earned income and financial prospects. Your attitude towards worldly resources, your values and sense of self-worth, are all in focus. While it also may be referring to inner resources, in general, it is concerned with actual physical money and actual material possessions. When I look at this I think that this is going to take both inner resources and physical as it may cost actual money to fully understand this later on. Or even the investments I have already put in by getting books and connections that I am making. Including these dice themselves.

This is one of those experiences that I felt as though this really resonated with me. I look forward to using these more as well as my journey forward in studying Astrology and Tarot. I hope you join me on this path.
