Spider-man to be Cut from the MCU

OMG this is the saddest news ever. Check out this video from Looper.

Today the deal between Disney and Sony fell apart and the collaboration that began in 2015 is officially dissolved as Sony and Disney could not come to terms over money.

Tom Holland's portrayal of Spider-man has been one of the stand outs in the MCU and now he will not be able to interact with the other MCU characters.

Sony knew the position they were in:

  • Spider-man Far from Home was the biggest Sony movie
  • Spider-man was one of the most popular MCU characters left with Iron Man, and Black Widow dead. Steve Rogers an old man. Don't forget Fat Thor.
  • Tony Stark turned over his tech to Peter and thus he would take the mantle of the head of the Avengers.

Now it is all F'd up over money.
