Tips For Disney World!

After my fifth trip to Disney World this past month i have learned quite a few tips and tricks that i wish i new my first time around here are 6 of them!

Go during the "Dead season".
Although Disney rarely ever has a true dead season, some of the best times of the year to go are Mid- Late January. Usually after the the big New Years party, Disney begins to die down a bit. September - early November. Although i personally have never been during September- November. Everyone in Orlando recommends those are the best times of the year

Bring your Own lunch!
Disney has many food stands and wonderful restaurants all through out its parks. However this can get quite expensive. A easy way to avoid this is by bringing your own lunch, and snacks. You can save Hundreds, just by doing this.

Fastpass 30 days in advance!!!

After purchasing your ticket, Disney gives you 3 free fast passes per ticket. You should always plan ahead for Disney, especially when it comes to rides. You get 30 days in advance from when you actually go to that park to book a fastpass. i would recommend doing it on the day it becomes eligible.

Usually the longest wait times are
Animal Kingdom: Avatar's Flight of passage ( 2-3 hour wait is normal, fast passes for this ride go first so act fast!) Na'vi River, Kali River Rapids

Epcot: Test Track, Frozen Ever After, Soarin

Magic Kingdom: 7 Dwarfs Mine Train, Splash Mountain, Meet Micky, Space Mountain

Hollywood Studios: Toy Story Mania, Tower of Terror
Only been twice

Don't go to the parks everyday!!

Disney world is a tiring vacation, the amount of walking and standing you'll do, you will need a vacation from a vacation. Disneyworld is larger then Manhattan. However an easy way is to break the times up, and not go to the parks day after day. Take advantage of places like Disney Springs, or Near by Universal city walk. Both are free to enter, and have plenty of restaurants and shops. Disney Springs often has live night shows, and is more family oriented and calm, while city walk is more for the older people.

Water is free!

i know this one may seem obvious, but an easy way to save money from $5 water bottles is taking advantage of the free water at food stands.

Go to rope drop!
if you didn't get the fast passes you wanted, get their an hour to 2 hours ahead of park opening to maximize your chances of getting on the rides you want to

Bonus: Ride the flight of passage!

If you couldn't get a fast pass for it, its okay just listen to this tip. Go at Rope Drop, in fact get their earlier. Disneys Animal Kingdom opens at 9 am, however rope drop is somewhere around 8-830 am. this means get there at 7:30-7:45. here is the reason. Disney allows people after rope drop to come in, in waves and form the line. When this happens everyone runs to the Flight of passage. before 9 am i will almost assure you there will be a 2-3 hour wait. so get there early, i have done this and have gotten on in 10 minutes. They generally let people before an hour wait go to through the fastpass section. Most People will agree this is one of the best thrill rides they have been on, so dont miss out! everyone has the idea of getting their early just be more earlier then them!
