A Turkish dish "HUNKAR BEGENDI"

"Hunkar Begendi" is one of the most delicious dish in Turkish cousine.

----------------The ingredients for the recipe of Hunkar Begendi----------------

INGREDIENTS

  • 50g margarine

  • 250g chopped beef

  • 1 onion + a glass of water

  • Half-cooked tomato sauce

  • 2 Tooth garlic

  • Salt + the karbine

FOR "BEGENDI" (FOR THE BOTTOM)

  • 30g Margarine

  • 2 big eggplant

  • a meal spoon of flour + a glass of milk

  • half-tea-glass shredded cheddar cheese
    (tea glass is special cultural glass of Turkish So you can see the picture of it on google)

  • Salt + karbine

----------------Preparation of "Hunkar Begendi"----------------

Pierce the eggplants through several places with a fork and chill them until they soften in the baking oven.When it's a little cold, peel the shells and get them in a bucket.Melted margarine. Add the flour and roast it until golden brown.Add and mix the milk gradually.Add eggplant and mix.Add grated cheese, salt and black pepper and take it from the stove.
Roast margarine with a separate tanned edible onion, veal, garlic and laurel leaves.Add tomato paste and water and cook until the beefs soften.Sweeten with salt and pepper.Take the BEGENDI (the bottom) to the serving tray and place the meat on top and serve.
