It looks like we cant escape corruption no matter how evolve our society is and is common to scare people with the end of the world for improvement, but now, with nowa days technology it seems possible to end the world as a result of these bad habits.

A tablet from ancient Assyria, 2800bc states: Our earth is degenerate in these latter days. There are signs that the world is speedily coming to an end. Bribery and corruption are common.
Socrate, 2000 years later complained: Children are now tyrants... They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs, and tirannize over their teachers.
