Yes. I have experienced it my whole life. That's why I have to laugh whenever someone makes the absurd claim that only white people can be racist. I grew up around brown-on-brown racism and prejudice. In fact, that's one of the reasons I am writing my novel, to expose some of that prejudice and racism that is prevalent in society in the islands I'm from.
