The numbers are legit. That is what happens when you cut back on regulations and allow businesses to keep more of their own money. Taxation is theft! Before the income tax was implemented, we got along just fine, and we had the most prosperous years that American had ever seen. This prosperity lasted from just after the civil war up until 1913, with the implementation of the income tax and establishing the federal reserve. The national debt has done nothing but go up since then. The Obama administration along with a republican congress nearly doubled the national debt in 8 years. Our debt in 2009, was just over 10 trillion and when Trump took office last year the debt was over 20 trillion. Obama never had annual GDP growth at 3% in 8 years. The first president to ever fail at achieving this 3%. Obama did not know what he was doing, and his economic policy showed it.
Agreed. I find it hard to accept low unemployment stats when so many businesses are laying off and closing shop. I guess it's how employment is defined.
Can't forget the original name of the "Income Tax". The "War Tax". Apparently politicians liked it so much, they keep deciding to get involved in even more wars.

it was called (wait for it) the WAR Department.
