President Rodrigo Roa Duterte is known as "The Punisher", a Filipino politician who speaks his mind. Studied political science at the Lyceum of the Philippines University, he was first to become president from Mindanao - a southern major island group in the country.

He was mandated by the people after winning the 2016 Presidential Election against other four candidates. Recently, a survey had shown a decline in satisfaction among the poorest Filipinos but president Duterte's satisfaction ratings remains higher than his predecessors.

While some doesn't like how president Duterte use his power to implement law, many were impressed of what he had already done for the country for the past two years. His "Build-Build-Build" project has made tremendous impact in the development and innovation of the Philippines. He believes that the Philippines lack infrastructure and it keeps the country's development prolonged.

In a certain event just last week, he shared to the public his afterthought. With all the people against his presidency, the numerous casualties on his campaigns which people thought injustice, and the calls for him to step down, President Duterte himself said that he is thinking of stepping down.

He first mentioned this on a conference in Malacañang Palace to the united Armed forces of the Philippines where he stopped the emcee and gave the opening remarks and said:

Guys, I want you to know that I am thinking of stepping down because I'm tired. Well I am not angry against anybody. My chase against graft and corruption seems to be endless and it has contaminated almost all government departments and offices. - President Rodrigo Duterte

Before the said conference, as the commander in chief of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, it was reported that president Duterte threatened to kill 100 policemen accused of corruption and abuse of power.

Nonetheless, he assured each and every government department has a very good head. Although there were people who are in favor of him stepping down, many netizens have reached their sympathy to the president. Here are some screenshots of netizens showing support to the president.

In the Philippines, the president's term is six years. During his term, the Filipinos will be anticipating what change his administration can bring to the Philippines. Change is inevitable and so as people who may judge the administration for whatever reason. If he will not resign, President Duterte is expected to finish his term by the year 2022.

Do you think President Duterte should resign from his post as the President of the Philippines?

I haven’t read much on the Philippines President besides his tough crackdown on drug dealers. Interesting post...

Yes, he has tough crack down on drug dealers and syndicates. Many who supports him believe that it is time to for the Filipinos to have a president that is tough and someone who speaks his mind. He was also been a topic on certain talk shows and news channels abroad for his attitude of showing how the Philippines and Filipinos overseas should be treated equal.

Although many we re negative about him (I think it's inevitable everywhere), I can say he has done a lot.
