it's been getting colder for the last fifteen thousand years (on average)
notice the chart.
it's colder now (on average) than it has been since before the beginning of recorded civilization.
I think it is less a question of whether people can survive or not than how many people can survive.
THAT would depend upon the level of technology available to them.
indeed, humans can survive in space with enough technology.
yup...the International Space Station has been in low earth orbit for years.
