It's a very good thing when Europe stops caring about their military. Let's keep the peace
if that's the case then the United States should also stop caring about Europe.
I presume you saw the article about German troops, during NATO exercises usingb roomsticks painted black, because they did not have guns?
No wonder Turkey warned that they could take over Germany within 48 hours.
Having an army, same as citizens having guns, is the best defence. We do not live in an ideal world - and we never will...well, at least, not until mankind loses intelligence and free will.

As for USA guns - not even going to try and guess, as I know it is some amazingly high number.
not to mention the Germans making themselves energy dependent on the Russians which enriches and empowers the Russians allowing them to buy more weapons the Germans will want us to pay to defend them from.
I think the heart of the country is military and we need to respect then,
But Germany was prohibited to have an army after WWII... how did they end up with largest army again?

As far as I'm concerned the US should withdraw.
Military is not the only solution , Europe is much more peaceful than the rest of the world without any of its country having up to the mark military of their own
That is because humans have kind of lost humanity, Army is still not the option
exactly right. The US should NOT pay for your army or your country's defense
US army should stick to US and make it great again in real, not just in words. Every other country in the world can live on their on. May Peace prevail
