I predict that in the same way we buy homes (which we cannot afford and therefore spend a lifetime paying them off), we will buy AI robots in the future. These robots will be sent to work on our behalf and earn money for us. However, this money will ultimately be used to pay back the corporations who sale this massively expensive AI robots to us (the general population). So although we will be more "free" from work than ever, we will also be more indebted to the robot corporations than ever. And the rate race will continue...
