if this is true the climate alarmists, and most governments, are doing exactly the WRONG THING. They are enforcing policies that will doom mankind to extinction.
if this is NOT true...then all Roses...one or two degrees warmer won't even approach historical temperature. The fact that we survive today is proof that those past, MUCH higher temperature were not lethal.

You mean to tell me all those republicans that were talking about an upcoming Ice age in the early 70's based on geological evidence may have been right verses the it's gonna get hot because i say so Al gore hot air machine ? say it ain't so joe, say it ain't so. On the bright side the price of firewood is going to go up, everywhere except in california, cause they are not allowed to burn wood anymore. well in lots of places in california anyways, not all areas yet.

When I was a trucker the only state I'd go to that had "new" in it's name was New Mexico..and that included New England.

My city set the US record for snowfall total a couple of years ago, it does suck. It will be nice when winter is over, this year it was mostly just cold, only got out the snow blower twice so far.
I live in Austin Tx...which is as far south as the panhandle of Florida...we got several inches of snow last november...snow fell on the GULF coast...in Brownsville which is as far south as key west...
further south...in Mexico..they got snow too.
I hope it doesn't happen soon.

It is a difficult bet, however as we know it, the human being will always look for a way to survive any situation, now we are an example of that, and it is as you say: those temperatures that were MUCH higher were not lethal.
