they ban credit cards and people start pulling out of stocks to invest in crypto ;-)

Banks also ban crypto purchase with credit cards. Sources of funds are being restrained and that certainly will decrease money flow into crypto. Difficult, but people will find ways to off shore accounts.
I don't believe this was cause and effect. Just interesting coincidence of timing.
Correlation doesn't imply causation - but it sure do smell suspicious!
Not ALL banks. It's time to switch to credit unions, which give much better service overall.

I think it's more a case of the deep state trying to punish Trump for releasing the memo. They can manipulate the markets from the basement of the Treasury. Trump bragged about the markets in the SOTU so now they're after him for the memo... remember it's an election year!
