Hi friends! This is my first time to participate in this contest hosted by @yoganarchista entitled: "Discover your body" Art Contest which allow us to discover and distinguish every parts of our body each week. Thank you for this maam @yoganarchista :)

And here's my entry for this week's contest

The subject to be drawn this week is about The Lower Legs - or generally speaking, the bottom part of our lower limbs between our knees and our ankles.

This drawing pays tribute to those who are amputees worldwide. As you can see in my drawing, a man with a prosthetic leg sitting on a cloud with the moon and stars as its background while the face wasn't shown to generalize all the amputee.

This means that having such special conditions won't be a hindrance for them to dream high and to do the things they want to do. Also the prosthetic leg serves as the support from the people in the community who wants to enlighten them not to give up in life.

People like them are inspirations for us, people because they are strong enough to overcome their problems in life and for letting us realize that having complete body parts won't make us perfect and being an amputee won't make them incomplete neither but rather doing good things to others is what makes us more a human-being.

And btw, here's how its being done

Step-by-step process of my drawing

1. Prepared the materials needed.

Here, I only used a pencil, eraser and a gel pen

2. Light sketching

In this part, I first sketched the subject using pencil.
note that I only applied light sketching so that it will be erased easier.

3. Light sketching II

I added patterns as guide and so that it will be easier to draw the object.

4. Sketching

In this part, I added more details by using first a pencil before it will be inked.

5. Inking method

In this part i started to ink my subject.

Then ...

note that I only applied 1 stroke for this so that it won't be messy

6. Inking method II

I added some shadings
note that the stroke of my pen is from light to heavy stroke.

Then...

7. Inking method III

I started to draw the prosthetic leg.

Then...

I put some designs on the leg which shows happiness and artistry.

8. Inking method IV

I added the steemit logo on the shirt since steemit is one of the many ways to share awareness and to help this people with special conditions.

9. Finalizing

I then draw the cloud, the moon and the stars which in totality means, dreaming high and aiming success.

Then...

and, BOOM! here we have it! 😊
