I am naming it Darkflame Island, because I found it.

East of Chirongui, Mayotte in the Indian ocean.

I first noticed a Mag 5.1 quake on May 14th 2018

And I checked MODIS Imagery on EOSDIS Worldview

Approximately the same location as these quakes, and if you zoom right in you can see

New land forming!

This is not 100% confirmed yet, but I am steem posting about it now!

I may have found a new island forming from undersea volcanic eruptions. Can you tell I am excited??
