African democracy deteriorating rapidly in the same vein like our biodiversity.

Democracy in Africa is at its height of deterioration as there are increased conflicts day in day out which leads to high number of dead's, due mainly to corruption, high unemployment rates, bad governance, poor infrastructure, etc. This has greatly led to the establishment of personality cults forcing the youths who occupies the greater proportion of the work force to hallow in their own shadows as a greater percentage remain unemployed while the political few stay in power as long they want and occupying as many positions as determined by their lord. As such, this beautiful continent of ours with an exploding population mostly survive on foreign aid which still with a greater portion ending up in private pockets.
On the other hand, these young people unemployed tend to depend solely on biodiversity as a main source of their livelihoods specially in activities such as hunting indiscriminately, fishing, lumbering, deforestation, farming etc. As biodiversity degradation can be checked if proper measure are put in place with effective alternatives. As biodiversity is the spring board for human survival or existence, so too is good democracy for the development and survival of the African continent, so let us jointly save our continent.
