Seeking discernment: The way of fools seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice. Proverbs 12:15

The Bible teaches us that the wise and the fool follow opposite paths, and this is so because each one goes towards his goal, the wise towards life and peace, while the fool towards destruction and chaos; that is why the Bible expresses: "I saw that wisdom is better than folly, just as light is better than darkness" Ecclesiastes 2:13.
Life and death are drives of the unconscious that at some point have to be satisfied by the individual, our way of reasoning is based on these forces. These psychological inclinations of the unconscious bring with them the discernments, the discernment that seeks life is edifying, benevolent, and progressive; on the other hand, the mentality that seeks death is chaotic, unfair, destructive, involutionary.
The discernments are logics of thought that is why the Sacred Scriptures give us this proverb: "The way of fools seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice," Proverbs 12:15.
An example of how a fool ends up following his own discernment is King Ahab who receives the prophecy of the prophet Micaiah in 1 Kings 22 not to go to war because he would die in battle, King Ahab mocks Micaiah, follows his own advice, and fulfills the prophecy by dying from an arrow wound. The fool does not know how to listen: "For they will only go their own way, and through their folly you will also perish" Ben Sira 8:15.
On the other hand, the man who fears God and accepts instruction with docility, is always ready to receive good advice. An example of this was King David, who was filled with the spirit, and who always sought the face of God, and was always guided by his wise advice and that of his prophets, and as a consequence of this he was blessed by God.
King David, who was the author of many psalms, shows us his devotion to the Lord and his advice: "Hear my voice when I call, LORD; be merciful to me and answer me. My heart says of you, ´Seek his face!´ Your face, LORD, I will seek" Psalm 27:7-8.
