ABEMUS SEGWIT ACTIVADO
Segregates Witness, el protocolo diseñado por Bitcoin Core para mejorar la escalabilidad de la red Bitcoin, está oficialmente activo en el bloque 481.824 minado por BTCC, con un 99.95% de apoyo en la red.
Como les comente en mi post anterior el Segwit fue activado para robustecer la seguridad y permitir transacciones mas rapidas, La aceptación de los cambios que propone SegWit no sólo está relacionada con las condiciones del mercado sino con la posibilidad de expandir las capacidades de la red: al ser más liviana, gracias a las características.
En Twitter muchos de los usuarios, utilizando la etiqueta #SegWitParty se encuentran posteando sus propias fotos de la celebración. Desde el servicio de carteras frías Trezor, además, han ofrecido el sorteo de tres de sus carteras para uno de estos usuarios, que, básicamente, sólo tienen que celebrar que SegWit ha llegado para tener la oportunidad de ganar.
