KPCP report on Internet Trends suggest that China alone takes up to 23% of the world's internet users while U.S. only have 10%.

Unlike the EU (19%), another big percentage, China has only 1 out of 5 official written languages are commonly used. Unlike other big players such as the U.S. and India, the legal environment in China is mostly unified in a national level. So it is one gigantic unified market that you can get in by just developing one set language and legal system! If you want to grow your digital business, it is a low cost gamble that you should try. This explains why many companies like Uber, are so eager to get into the Chinese market when they are still young.

Why I call it a gamble? That is because of the strong competition from the local Chinese digital business. So, it is not a sure win but definitely a low cost high reward gamble that you should try!
