Buy Your Pants with Radium or DigiByte! | Crypto IRL

in #digibyte7 years ago

One of the major components lacking in the mass adoption of cryptocurrency, is that most people in the communities are interested in trading and investing, and not actually using the coins. And the main reason for that is that besides buying a $20 million dollar pizza, or maybe purchasing gold and silver, there's not a lot of opportunities to use Bitcoin, Litecoin, Nem, Dash, or the others in our daily lives. I've read one prediction about the curve of technology adoption that said mainstream usage of Bitcoin will take another 20 years.

The worst part is that with the USA's stance on Bitcoin, it seems like I'll be living in the third-world when it comes to cryptocurrency adoption. I have a feeling that Europe, Asia, and soon Africa will all be lightyears ahead of America.

And the evidence can already be seen in the Netherlands where the House of Blue Jeans clothing store currently accepts DigiByte and soon Radium.1

We are very happy to announce a new retail partnership! Through our listing on LiteBit.eu we are now accepted at the House of Blue Jeans in the Netherlands. They are one of the leaders in advanced retail management with a full beta of the Omnichannel retail system.

Check out this somewhat forced video proving that DGB now works at their location (and online).

Hey guys! Just wanted to share this. You can Earn while you Trade or Hodl RADS at Btcpop.co!

If there are any lazy stakers out their Btcpop stakes deposits for you and gives you proportionate rewards

DGB is on the rise today. Up double digits percentage wise.

I noticed! People left the bull run of BTC and went back to their favorite crypto's.

it looks cool, but why specific Digibyte?

Why do they take DGB? Probably for the transaction speed. You don't want to wait around for 2 hours while your bitcoin payment is confirmed!

of course, i understand that, but I mean why DGB and not any other type of ALT coin

I would guess that the establishment has to open a wallet on an exchange, in this case probably litebit, and set up their software for it. For whatever reason, they picked DGB, and now RADS. I just checked DASH vs DGB on coinmarketcap for the volume traded on that exchange and it's much higher for DGB. That might be part of the reason.
