First impression matters a lot in some aspect of life but not all, first impression :magazines, short stories,presentations and seminar, it doesn't matter in novels, books, (bible, Quran,life changing books etc). The idea of first impression is purely overrated said just to make you buckle up in pleasing people, believe me a story might have asweet beginning and bad ending and vice versa, at the end we find out that it's the overall impression that actually counts not the first one.
