About Dholera SIR and it's development

Dholera SIR is the part of DMIC rout where government's main focus is to connect country's top two capitals Dhelhi and Mumbai, make more businesses up and reduce the pollution level. This is a futuristic rout which have total 24 nods which will be developed as SEZ ( Special Economic Zone dedicated to Industries) and SIR ( Special Investment Region - Having all the facility which needed in any city to run).
Apart from these 24 nods, Dholera SIR is standing apart just because of it's strategic location. Some reasons are as below.
Dholera SIR covers the area of 920 Sq.Km which is five times than Shanghai, 3 Times than Mumbai and twice of Delhi in size.
State government is holding more than 70% of the land so the rest land acquisition was very easy. ( Yes, you read right)
Dholera has it's own port which will be developed on a very advance level in near future. Reasons behind this: Many MNCs and Global manufacturer had done MOUs to start manufacturing and trading business from Dholera because of four connectivity for goods and human transportation.
1) DFC ( Dedicated Freight Corridor) on DMIC route.
2) International Cargo & Passenger Airport
3) Ahmedabad To Dholera SIR Metro Rail connectivity along with 8 lane express highway.

-->Current Development work:
Road development work is going on. 72.2 Kms of roads are under development and L&T is taking care of it. More than 40% work is finished. Deadline is June,2019. Total budget allotted 1734 cr.
Baroda's Cube Construction company is constructing ABCD (Administration and Business Centre of Dholera) complex. Till date more than 30% work is finished. September,2018 is the dead line to complete it's construction. Total budget allocated is 73 cr for 16500 sq.m of construction.
Three companies are constructing Water & Savage Treatment Plant of total capacity of 80 MLD with allocated budget of 289 carors.
Many village roads which are connected to Dholera SIR, Directly or Indirectly are being constructed with top priority. Many tenders were closed now and will be finalized soon.
