The Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has taken the initiative to radically change the park known as Banani Club, located on the number 18 road of Banani 18. The officials of the company said, there will be another feature of the park, it will be a shelter for the residents of the disaster situation.

DCCC's environment, climate change and disaster management departments have been reforming 22 parks and 8 playgrounds for modernizing and improving the physical and mental development of the city's bodybuilder, entertainment and children and adolescents. Renovation of Banani Park is also part of the initiative. After the reform, it will be named Banani Women and Children Park. DNCC officials say the place will be open, green and shade. Children play here, women will walk, tell stories.

Recently there, it is seen that the park is surrounded by tin from outside. The work is going on inside. Bricks, sand, cement and soil stumps inside the field. Several trees have already been cut. The entire ground is being newly created. The work hours have been given at a signboard outside the park from April this year to March 31 next year.

Banani society president Shawkat Ali Bhuiyan said that the Banani ground was once owned by the Dhaka Improvement Trust (DIT). Then the owners of the City Corporation. Recently, along with the society, DNCC Banani's field and park development works. If this work is done then there will be enough facilities for the residents.

The foundation architects of Banani Park have worked. Architect Iqbal Habib said that 22 parks in Dhaka are being re-designed. In these parks, it is being emphasized that all ages, class people are allowed to travel and entertaining arrangements. Parks are being redesigned from the idea of ​​bringing people's property back to them. All people in the area will consider this park as their park. Women will come in these parks in a comfortable way. Children will be able to play, ride the bike. It is also thought to ensure maximum use of the parks.

According to the DNCC sources, the local people themselves took part in the development of the park, and gave the opinion of the facilities, they themselves took part. Their designs and plans were included while designing the park. Large buildings will not be built in these parks.

DNCC Environment, Climate Change and Disaster Management Circle Supervision Engineer Tariq Bin Yusuf said in the first light, Banani's 18th park and the ground will be used as an open space during disaster. Architects said that to ensure access to everyone in the park where there are only parks, playgrounds will also be kept there. There is a park facility where there is a field.
