Instruction

The length to which our God will go to save us from our sin
To place on us His righteousness and make us whole again
Is clearly seen as evidenced upon Mount Calvary
Where He prepared and paid the Price of love for you and me

But many oh so many have their blinders on today
And focus on the things they want and words they want to say
Instead of where we are in time and what is soon to come
And where the grace that's needed most is promised to come from

For most of those in church today who claim to know Him well
Who claim to have a walk with Him Who loved them when they fell
Assume that they need not to be concerned for what's to come
As Jesus paid the Price for them when He erased the sum

Of all their past misgivings all their past of wickedness
And all the sins they did commit in their presumptuousness
And thereby they no longer feel a need to spend their days
With focus on the One Who's very mindful of their ways

Who paid the Price they could not pay upon that cruel cross
Who never lost His focus on the souls that would be lost
If He were to but simply say “they've chosen what the will
And their cup of iniquity is what they chose to fill

“Instead of being emptied daily in their heart and mind
Allowing what I've chosen through My Spirit they might find
That peace and joy and happiness that comes from knowing Me
That comes from setting all aside to see what they might see

“Of holiness and beauty that is found within My Word
Where through their meditation My sweet Spirit may be heard
To guide them in their journey through the passing of each day
To be the light to heaven as they walk the narrow Way

“That also shines within them so that other folks might see
The path that leads to heaven and eternal life with Me
Where we as one will journey through the Galaxies beyond
And they will share with other worlds the grace they've built upon

“The faith that they must cherish that must day by day be their's
That's found in time of study as the answer to their prayers
Firm rooted in Christ's righteousness that's placed on them each day
As they through love and faithfulness pursue My living Way”
