italicHOW TO LOVE OUR ENEMIES?
Luke 6:27-28
But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.

boldREFLECTIONS:

  1. By blessing them as commanded by Jesus. "To bless" here is "to speak well of OR speak well to".

  2. By doing good to them as taught in both covenants (Exo. 23:4-5; Mat. 5:44) which has the potential of transforming our enemies.

  3. By praying for them as taught by Jesus and exemplified by Christ and His disciples.

Then he fell on his knees and cried out, boldLord, do not hold this sin against them
