If you think poverty does not exist in the Western world you are wrong.
I see it everywhere around me. I recognize the people although they do not complain. I see it from what they buy (watch their shopping carts) and see them count the total amount while they take it or... put it back.
Lordy, this is so true... and it's good to see others realize the same thing. On my way to work (when I used to be able to work), there were tent cities just beyond the treeline. I only knew this, because there was a fellow that came to work every day on a bicycle... and he told us about where he lived. Just another example of how we should be extremely thankful, for everything we have...

I wish we started helping our own poor first instead if closing our eyes for that expect and pretend and teach our children poverty only exists in Africa.
