| gestern war in Deutschland Feiertag. Ich war im Saarland in der Nähe des Bostalsee wandern. Der Bostalsee ist ein beliebter Badesee. So weit, so gut. | In Germany yesterday was a bank holiday. I was hiking a little bit near the Bostalsee (lake in the valley around the village of Bosen). The Bostalsee is a popular lake for swimming. |

| Aber: Der Tümpel ist erstens klein, liegt total im Schatten der Büsche und Bäume und ganz grün vor Algen. Das muß so ein deutsches Hobby sein. Mir ist es schon öfter passiert, daß mir Engländer oder Iren sagten: "I know nothing in German. Only 'ein Bier, bitte' and 'das ist verboten!'"
