ARAYA ist ein Adventure-/Horror-Game in der Egoperspektive. Die Spieler erwartet ein neuartiges, fesselndes Erlebnis in einem thailändischen Krankenhaus.
Die Geschichte wird aus der Perspektive dreier verschiedener Charaktere erzählt. Die Spieler erforschen verschiedene Teile des Krankenhauses, um die Umstände des mysteriösen Mordes an Araya Stück für Stück aufzudecken und den Fall zu lösen.
