Zeit wird es jedenfalls, dem (schlechten) Schauspiel ein Ende zu bereiten. Es war doch schon sehr offensichtlich, dass er überhaupt nicht mehr in der Verfassung ist, das Amt auszufüllen. Es wird doch wohl in den USA noch jemand geeigneten geben, der für die Demokraten gegen Trump antreten kann...

That is probably true. Nowadays, superlatives are used very quickly. The constant information overload is not entirely innocent.
I read this book a couple months ago, The Fourth Turning Is Here: What the Seasons of History Tell Us about How and When This Crisis Will End (after watching this video by @answerswithjoe.)
Basically, the author argues that history follows an 80-100 year cycle, and we're now in the 4th phase of the cycle (for America). This is the same phase as when WWII, the American Civil War, and the American Revolution all happened. It's a more complicated version of the old claim that:
If he's right, than we're just waiting for some sort of triggering event that will kick off a period of crisis. I wasn't totally convinced. It felt like there was a lot of cherry-picking of historical events. But, given actual current events, it's hard to completely ignore the claim.

Ich gehe davon aus dass er durch die C19 Spritze eine Prionendemenz entwickelt hat, was bedeutet, dass er vor Ende des Jahres vermutlich an den Folgen versterben wird.
Bei 81-jährigen ist Demenz ja nicht sehr ungewöhnlich. Nur sollte er dann besser nicht gleichzeitig der Präsident der USA sein.
