Das erste Mal Asien - In weniger als 48 Stunden geht es los! / First time Asia - The journey starts in less than 48 hours!
In 2 Tagen geht es los. Dann sitze ich im Flieger mit dem Ziel Kuala Lumpur. Bis dahin muss ich noch einiges erledigen. Ich fange heute an, meinen Koffer zu packen... Dabei bin ich mir halt nicht sicher, was ich alles überhaupt so benötige. Ich bin 17 Tage unterwegs - Besuche 2 verschiedene Länder und für das After Steem Fest Chill hab ich bisher noch nichts geplant. Dabei schwebt mir vor, von Insel zu Insel zu hoppen und eine schöne entspannte Zeit nach dem Steem Fest zu verbringen. Dabei wäre dann ein riesen Koffer mit etlich vielen Klamotten, ich glaube nich so toll. Wie dem auch sei, ich packe nun erstmal meinen Basic Kram rein und schaue dann, was überhaupt noch fehlt. In Malaysia und Thailand soll das Shoppen ja auch relativ günstig sein - von daher könnte man sich zur Not auch vor Ort noch einiges besorgen was man nicht unbedingt mitgenommen hat oder dann doch vergessen hat.
In two days, it'll start. Then I sit in the plane with the destination Kuala Lumpur. Until then I still have some things to do. Today I start to pack my suitcase... But I am not sure what I need at all. I am 17 days on the way - visits 2 different countries and for the After Steem Fest Chill I haven't planned anything yet. I have in mind to go from island to island and spend a nice relaxed time after the Steem Fest. A huge suitcase with a lot of clothes would be a good idea... I don't think so. Be that as it may, I'll put my basic stuff in and then see what's missing. In Malaysia and Thailand shopping is supposed to be relatively cheap - so I could get some things I didn't take with me or forgot.
Yesterday evening I quickly booked an international health insurance. It is valid for one year and covers (I believe and hope everything) a lot when it comes to getting sick abroad and being dependent on medical help. For not even ten euros, I find this an investment that one should absolutely make. It would be stupid to get sick abroad and then have to pay everything out of your own pocket.
Ich denke mal, das ich noch bis tief in die Nacht damit beschäftigt sein werde, meine Sachen in den Koffer und den Rucksack (Handgepäck) zu packen. Dabei muss ich mir für die 17 Stunden, in denen ich unterwegs bin noch ordentlich Musik aufs Handy packen und die einen oder anderen Filme auf das Tablet. Mir soll ja auch nicht langweilig werden während der langen Flüge :)
Also - an die jenigen, die auch zum SteemFest fliegen - wir sehen uns in Kürze! Und an die, die zuhause bleiben - ich halte euch auf dem laufenden! ;)

I think I'll be busy until deep into the night packing my stuff into my suitcase and backpack (hand luggage). For the 17 hours I spend on the road, I have to put some music on my mobile phone and some movies on the tablet. I shouldn't get bored during the long flights :)
