Gesehen auf dem Fantasy Filmfest 2017.
Shock Wave ist ein grundsolider klassischer Actionfilm aus Hongkong im Stil der 80er und 90er Jahre.
Das Bomben-Setting ist trotz herausragender Mitkonkurrenten wie "The Hurt Locker", dennoch relativ unverbraucht und zieht einen von daher effektiv in den Bann.
Hier passiert nichts wirklich Neues, aber dafür macht der Film auch kaum etwas wirklich falsch.
Da der Film sehr westlich ist, nicht nur etwas für Asienfreaks.
Andy Lau (Infernal Affairs) trägt den Film durch seine coole Art, ähnlich wie Chau Yun-fat in den John Woo Filmen.
Klare Empfehlung für Fans von z.B. "Stirb langsam 3".
