What I wrote is that Trump will not get the peace nobel price this year. because it is to late for 2018 nomination.
From my point of view it remains questionable to give him a peace nobel price with sight on illegal war at Syria and killing people in the middle east by drone attacks via airbase at Rammstein.
Further the US hasn´t change thier nuclear doctrin of a preventiv first strike attack - so why should Trump get a peace nobel price, when the USA is supporting nuclear first strike attacks and illegal wars?
This Korea meeting is pretty historical, it is a war that has been ongoing for 70 years, ending it would be a big step towards peace regionally and globally and it is sure a hell of a lot better than any thing Obama ever did, he started several drone wars after winning. Those conflicts were already pretty old when Trump got there, he is making strides in the middle east as well. The embassy thing was cast in a negative light but that is a major step towards peace there as well, that is why 5 presidents before Trump all called for it, they just never had the cajones to make it happen.

the meeting is a propaganda show. I think the US wants to get on the north corean territory with their mililtais. The longterm focus of the US is to get close to Chinas border. Same procedure like in Europa in the past three decades.
I one or two decades propably US divisions are place the chinese south border and preparing an attack.
The pax americana was always combined with war and attack. I think nothing will change in future.
The reunion of north and south Korea will lead to a new front against china...
I don´t trust that the USA will be interested in peace at this region.
The US has no intentions to invade China, we of course have the ability to do so but why would we want to? that would be pretty disruptive to invade one our biggest trading partners. Of course it was a propaganda show, all meetings of world leaders are to some degree. Donald Trump is more about diplomacy than invading places, that's why the defense industry sponsored media hates him so much.
