yeah as long as the chain never get corrupted it will be this island of free speech. I know that in the US the SEC is investigating against decentralized autonomous organisations like Steem and Eos and so on, this happens as we speek. But I also know that what ever they do, it will strengthen the immune system of free speech platforms. In the end the good will win. have a nice day!
