Great!
It's inspiring to see American traditions spread to other cultures
Germany is credited with starting the Christmas tree tradition as we now know it in the 16th century when devout Christians brought decorated trees into their homes.

Absolutely. I'm American and I hereby declare that America was NOT the first country to celebrate Christmas. Oh Tannenbaum, oh tannenbaum!
However, there are two large public Christmas trees in my area that my children and I have seen in the last week. One should be # 6 on that height list and the other should be #8 (I Googled them and am relying the the two cities' official descriptions of their trees). And if that is true, then there must be others elsewhere. So I think that list you used may not be very accurate.
Thank you! ** Only natural tree in cities

I know. The ones I have seen recently are natural, decorated, and big enough to be on that list, but not there.
