The Opportunities Lie in Wait

I've frequently mentioned my love/hate relationship with adversity.

I've frequently mentioned it because it has become a cornerstone in my life.

I've realized that everything in my life has come down to a web of choices. A web of choices which all relate in some way or another to adversity.

Sometimes, my choices were to fear adversity and to run away from it. These are the choices I regret.

Other times, my choices were to run toward adversity. To fight it head on. To try and achieve bigger and better things in my life by making the right choices consistently.

Making consistent choices isn't as easy as you may think. A lot of people think that consistently being exceptional on a daily basis is impossible.

It is not impossible to adhere to the path of adversity. You will struggle. You will suffer. Things will look up and then they will go right back down.

We must always keep in the back of our mind that adversity exists to make us stronger and more resilient.

It is our choices on a daily basis that define us. What we do each day with the precious time that we have dictates who we are and who we are to become.
