Only You Can Change Your Reality
Expecting something or someone else the change your life is pointless. The popular thought is that the government needs to help people out of poverty, solve social problems, and keep our streets safe. The reality is that only you can take that challenge. Everything that happens in your reality is completely on you.
I worked in inventory logistics for two years. I was making decent money for how young I was, but I still itched for more. I walked MYSELF to our Director of Sales & Marketing and asked for an internship for school. She was impressed by my confidence and agreed to it. For three months I would work a full shift in inventory logistics, then clock out, shower at work, and change for my internship in the offices. I at work for 11-12 hours every day.
I was nearing the end of my internship and was waiting for an offer for a position. I realized then that I have full control of my future. Luckily the same day I was going to ask for a full time position, I was offered it. This worked out perfectly for me.
I am a month into my new position, and I feel like I can do more now. I have found a new position for a blockchain company. This is a position that I feel I would excel at, so I take that leap and apply. This doesn’t seem like a hard thing to do, but this job is probably way above my qualification. Although I might be under qualified, I know I can prove to them that I understand everything they need. Whether or not I get the job is irrelevant, because of one thing. I will be okay wherever I am, because I control what happens to me.
Once you realize that only you can change your reality, there is very little you can’t do. Believe in yourself, then prove only to yourself, that you believing in yourself is the best way to achieve anything you want.
