This is where we can find the famous Santiago Cove which is considered as the Boracay of Ilocos Sur. The sand found in its beaches are similar to those in Boracay Island. We can also found here the Santorini-inspired resort named Vitalis Villas.

This is where we can also find the headquarters of the entire province electric cooperative.They are the ones in charge in distributing electricity in wholewide province.

Bakun Municipality as viewed by Ilocos

Most people are familiar with Bakun as part of Benguet but it also covers Ilocos Sur that is why I am showing it but I will write another article soon relating to the same place but for Benguet province. But currently it is part of Benguet though some people go to Ilocos Sur to visit Bakun and trek its mountain slopes. People visit this place via Ilocos for mountain climbing, trekking and the waterfalls from the mountains.

Here we can find Bakun hydroelectric plant where they utilize the water coming from the mountain as the source of energy.

San Esteban, Ilocos Sur

San Esteban has a touch of Spanish history just like the other cities of Ilocos Regions. Here we can find the Moro Watchtower which was used to safeguard the community from pirates during the old times.

One of the famous beach that can be found here is the Apatot Beach. It was used by the Americans during World War 2. This is one of the best swimming spots and also a good place for people who want to go out and eat outside.
