Indonesia is building houses for the poor

The Head of the Aceh Province Community Empowerment Office, Prof. Amhar Abubakar, stated that the Government allocated 6,000 units of decent housing in 2018.

The program as part of the Aceh Government's steps to reduce the poor population in Aceh.

The former Head of the Aceh Bappeda conveyed that the other Aceh Government's steps to alleviate poverty were to improve the quality of the resources of the poor, provide free health facilities for all and scholarship programs for poor children, as many as 15 people per district.

In the economic field, the Government of Aceh provides business capital assistance and opens business opportunities for the productive workforce.

Prof. Amhar also mentioned the optimization of village funds to develop a growth center for village economy or villages to become the center of Aceh's economic growth, by growing Village Owned Enterprises.
