Egg in Egg in Egg, First submission to the TinkerCad Easter design challenge
Took some time, and neglected to take process pictures, but here's the gist of it in text, and some pictures and links to the model (including the awesome model it was based on)
base of the model uses the Vectary model I created here
(which itself uses the model linked above):

I then just copied-pasted the model, adjusted the scale and used the Solid-Hole parameters in TinkerCad to create indentations for each replica.
Here you can see the interior and how each one is sliightly smaller than it's surrounding part
here's the finished model

next up is the harder challenge:
Applying this egg in egg concept to a 3D printer model contained inside a Filament spool model XD

That’s a nice idea. But you need to increase the number to at least 10. Do you know the Russian matroschka ? They always seems to be endless :) . Do we have to use tinkercad for the contest ?
Yup 😅
It's a bit of a nightmare... no mesh editing utilities as far as I can tell 😢
I kinda cheated by smoothing the models insides using Vectary, but don't tell them 😉
I think I’m out then :) i love my fusion360 workflow to much :) might still create a folding egg for the fun of it :)
I'm just going to make relatively simple models, given the overall design capabilities of TinkerCad are limited, at least to my small mind XS
For Eastern? 😁
Did I write eastern somewhere ?
Can't find it if I did.
I'm confused. Help 😲
In the title :)
huh. I see
in my title XP
