Design Logo for Wing Tsun martial school
Introduction
Hi fellow steem people, i would like to share the logo i came up with in regards of @pollux.one contest he is hosting.

His Concepts on his logo that can be used as reference.
The Requirements
clean and clear design
the logo will be placed on shirts, the homepage and certificates and thus has to work on a white, black and red background with white, red and yellow accent to it.
the logo has to work with and without the needed text which is:
Fachschule für Wing Tsun Würzburg Kampfkunst & Selbstverteidigung
It has to include Wing Tsun Elements:
Examples: triangle, ying & yang or the plum blossom. Additionally it could include a snake and the crane
The logo proposed
Concept
There are lot of things to consider but I only focused on the most important part
- Yin and Yang
- Crane and the Snake
- The triangle represents the working with angles in WT
Upon browsing the internet, there are tons of ideas about how wing tsun portrayed by a crane and a snake.
Together i came up with this idea.
Process
I imagine how to make the snake and crane like a yin yang
I started on the snake part for it is easy to be manipulated as a yin yang curves
Next is the Crane wich neck can be opposed with the snake and can create a contrast like a yin yang. The good and evil
Added the triangle to portray the working of angle of WT
Added a Circle to imphasize that the crane and snake is in a circular form creating a yin and yang gesture.
Added some finishing touches
Colors
Benefits
This will add new entity on their school as this will separate them with other schools.

Sweet logo! I think this really turned out well, the crane and serpent are awesome and the nod to the yin yang is relatively subtle but definitely there. Looks great in all the colors, nice and simple and bold.
