Cordwood Log homes

I have always wanted to build one of these. With walls 3' thick I'm wondering what the R value (insulation) would be.....

    I am starting to have an idea with what to do with some of the wood we have to cut down from our property. Amazing how a photo can do that.

      Exactly.... I think of these homes every time I see a wood pile. I think hey that house is 1/2 way done !
