Therefore, Go!

I don't know if I have mentioned on Steemit before, but my sister is heavily involved in Missionary Work for her church. A missionary is one who goes to poor and impoverished areas of the world, helps them with supplies, health screenings and also talks to them about Christianity. She was a nurse before doing so, but she feels like she has found her true calling, while also being able to help those in poor health at the same time.

Today, she called me and asked me if I could make up a design for her and her missionary members. Their plan is to sell the shirts in order to raise funds for people that want to get involved in the missionary field will have the money to purchase plane tickets to go to these places. Last year, my sister went to Africa and told me she plans on going again this year.

So I came up with a few designs to go on shirts. The first one is your traditional look of the Earth, not all countries included, but the idea is there. The second shirt has more of a focus on the continent of Africa, since that is the place she is going to again and wants that to be front and center. The designs are meant to look a little rough, to give them a vintage look. Here are the designs:

She was able to show the designs to the fellow missionaries and they all loved them! Production on the shirts will begin tomorrow for the trip to Africa for many of them, including my sister, is coming soon. The first design will be going on a royal blue shirt, while the second design will be going on a faded green color shirt.

I'm glad our business will be able to help not only my sister, but others that feel a calling to help others. Even if you do not share the same religion, it gives me hope for humanity when you see people wanting to help others that are less fortunate than ourselves.
