How To Handle Your Steem Power 💥?
Often when I start thinking of something, for example a problem, I choose to explore it and reflect my ideas by making 3D illustrations. Recently I have been thinking of steem power and how to handle steem power in the best way ! This post is not pointers about the best way of doing that but rather I would like to hear your point of view?
Needless to say steem power is very important on Steemit. At this point I don't send any money out from my steemit account I just let it trickle down in Steem Power.
My goal is to get to atleast 1000 in steem power before I take out some money and perhaps celebrate 🎉 with a McDonald's ice cream or something. I'm hoping to reach this goal in end of October. As for 5000 SP I hope to reach it by the middle of next year.
Putting more money in steem power will be awesome because I find that I can finally make my votes count a bit more. For me comments are very important as well so I definitely focus on this, because honestly I think sometimes it can be just as nice as juicy upvote. What is your view on Steem Power ?
Honestly? I'm pretty new here as a blogger, and totally new to cryptocurrencies. I've been looking for a new place to share my art besides Zuckerworld (Facebook/IG) and I was recommended to join Steemit by a friend. I'm still sorta confused about a lot of things regarding how the whole Steem power/voting power/reputation scores work. It's a bit intimidating as a noob, but I'm determined to stick around and figure it all out over time. I'm trying to create and share good content in the meantime (I figured out how to add pics to comments today! And I'm starting to learn how to format posts lol) Like anything new I guess it's a slow and steady - and study! I'm reading tutorials as I find them and trying to wrap my head around it all.
It's a bit of a learning curve here and I think you can always learn new things ! I think your friend recommended you to a great platform ! It's about persistence though if you want to develop on the platform. Some might get introduced by someone who is already quite established and that will help a lot. If you don't have these kinds of contacts it's only hard work that can allow you to develop well in the network !

Yes i see we are in a similar position - i also am saving my SP and will be for a long time, as being a minnow is not rewarding for the amount of effort i put into some posts. I want to earn a lot more, so i will leave my investment growing in SP.
Yea it will be nice to grow some SP and get more control over the financial outcome of your post. Me myself I don't think there is anything wrong with self voting, the Steem Power is your own, how you want to spend it is also your own decision, I'm not saying I'm gonna upvote all my comments and stuff, but if I made a lot of effort on a post it could be nice I pet yourself on the back with a nice self upvote :)
