WEIRD THOUGHT: Let's call it desert power...
No I do not consider what I am writing about here in this post as TRUE. I am in a strange frame of mind today and as such I'm having some VERY different and WEIRD ideas. :) My imagination is firing in double or triple time today.
My earlier article on fear I ended with a Frank Herbert quote from Dune. Little did I know that hours later I'd suddenly think of "Desert Power" which is another theme from Dune.
I am thinking this post could be short as I mainly want to give life to this weird imagining as it is kind of a fun little seed that might lead to interesting things later on as long as I don't forget about it. So this post is to me not forgetting about it.
I mentioned in a comment on my post about whether we are sure we know what we think we know about the reports that the Smithsonian Institute allegedly has Egyptian artifacts stashed away that were recovered from a cave in the Grand Canyon where if history is actually correct they should not be. Now I cannot state this is true or not true. Yet I can have some wonderful thoughts come from my imagination by considering these things.
I found myself thinking about Egyptians in the Grand Canyon and how it is a very desert like area of North America that is broken by a vast canyon. So do the Egyptians have a natural affinity for deserts? Why would that be the place we found their artifacts? When you find a large continent why is it to the desert you go?
Considering the amount of desert when it comes to Egypt itself did they perhaps have some forgotten knowledge or technology that was more effective in desert regions?
Could there be a little more to the Dune and Arakis Desert Power concept than it simply being the vast numbers of people that secretly live there?
That is my seed of weirdness for the day. Have fun. Don't let it melt your mind.
Weird enough!, never thought about that, why would people live on deserts?... Maybe it was not a desert at the time they lived there, but climate changed since then?...
excellent thoughtful @dwinblood
I have no trouble believing, if they visited GC, that they found a desert in the vastness of the New World. They were familiar with the desert and life drew them to more places like that. You used a Dune quote and now your head is full of thoughts of Arrakis and sand. Such is life. Magical.
Reminds me of The Alchemist...the pyramids and the church in Spain both contained a treasure...
Yeah and if you were sitting in my head watching how the pieces interconnected and lead to this, then this, then this was pretty magical too.
A lot of fun. :)
I have no doubt:)
lol give the seed some water :)
LOL My friend needs to chime in here, she is like a library of knowledge! Sharing!
The Smithsonian Institute ,denies it and claims to have no records of G.E. Kinkaid.
But the fact that the area in question is off limits to even park rangers, and the additional fact that the area has a lot of Egyptian names, really makes one think!
What happens to those who challenge mainstream thought and the Status Quo?
I think you know!
;-)
Giants ,UFO's,Alliens! God Forbid !...lol. now is God a Terrestrial Being ? Only if He is Man made!
Namaste
Plant that seed of weirdness and watch it grow @dwinblood :)
There is a way to get power from sand using a sand power generator.
