A Passion for Purple - Deranged Photography Contest
The color of the sky is caused by scattering of white sunlight while propagating in the atmosphere. This light is white because it contains all frequencies of visible light. ... And under special circumstances when clouds start throwing shadows you see other colors being scattered, like purple.
This is my entry to this week's edition of the Deranged Photography Contest - A Passion for Purple.
