A truly special contest

THE FAMILY

Hello friends of steemit, in this opportunity I join the contest sponsored by @derangedvisions, an important initiative since it is always a pleasure to talk about the family. This is an easy and complex issue at the same time, the most important thing within a family, for me, is to maintain communication, a key element that helps us strengthen the union and affection among all the members.

There is nothing more satisfying than having a family that we love, where we feel good and are happy. Having parents who knew how to raise us gives us security in life, having a partner who loves us and respects us gives us roots, and having wonderful children offers us hope for a future. All this makes us feel complete.

MY FAMILY

In this case, talking about my family makes me feel tremendously fortunate and special because my family is also wonderful, like the many I have read here, it is what makes everything worthwhile, every effort, every decision and every step that I give in my life.

And good! To start talking about my family I must confess that this is a bit extensive, but for this occasion I will talk only about the one that is present in my small home. I start by introducing myself, my name Norka Moran, I am 38 years old, I am a Petroleum Engineer and I dedicate myself to teaching in a university here in Venezuela. I met my husband through a mutual friend and from that day there was a connection between the two of us, we went out frequently, we had tastes in common and we liked our topics of conversation. His name is William Carrasquero and he also belongs to steemit as @williamjose, he is an architect by profession, but in reality he has knowledge of certain trades. Today, he has a small company dedicated to the automotive service.

We got married 9 years ago, and since then he has shown me that he is a special person, a hardworking, understanding, affectionate and very kind person (and best of all, he likes cooking). An exemplary son and father, always pending the welfare of his family. A few months after I got married, I received the news that I was pregnant, my son William Enrique was born and Guillermo Andrés was born five years later.

A LITTLE ABOUT OUR TASTE

We love to travel and know the beautiful places of my country, we like to visit the beaches of Los cayos that are located in the Morrocoy National Park in the State of Falcón (Venezuela). These beaches are ideal to enjoy with children as they are warm and shallow waters which makes it perfect for us (here I show you a little).

MY CHILDREN

To start talking about my children, I start with William Enrique who is my eldest son, he is 8 years old, he is studying 4th grade in elementary school, he is a bit introverted and he is the athlete of my home. Since childhood he liked ball games. His father's favorite sport was always baseball, and he thought that his son might like it too, that's why he enrolled him in a baseball school for children.

As the months went by, William Enrique told us that he did not like baseball, that he wanted to play soccer, and from there we went to a soccer school. Since then he has demonstrated his passion for this sport, attends his classes with enthusiasm and I think this activity has helped him a lot in his behavior, he has developed strong ties with his teammates and enjoys more social interaction.

Guillermo Andrés is my second child, he is 3 years old, he is very talkative and it is the headache of his parents and his brother. His passion is video games, he is very entertained with his Tablet, he is very intelligent, and in fact he behaves very well. He plays daily with his cousins who are also his neighbors and he takes care of them as if he were the oldest of them (he is the little man of the house).

My family is my favorite team and together we are Rock, I only ask God to allow us to enjoy many years together. Thank you for reading and supporting this beautiful initiative!
