i too have gotten the feeling that joy is ironically often looked down upon.. perhaps there is a mystery around joy and humans who don't feel it too often think it Could Only come out of naïveté in these dark or troubling times, or if that those people were really paying attention how could they feel it? or i've heard, i know too much (to be happy)... but you are right and the energy of joy is soaring and energizing and we desperately need that energy in these times. Yay for euphoria and the feel-good emotions like cuddles... we certainly need that <3 XO

Oh, one other joy-stigma that just came to mind, is that it is not cool.

yes! i cannot do that thing either haha.. aka "chill" and i am certainly not very good at that lol. i have seen other people who aren't good at it make hashtags like #nochill or #teamnochill... exactly! <3
