Smile everyday!
It does take effort to get off depression and reclaim your happiness. First thing you really have to do to fight depression is a good assessment of your happy moments from your childhood. What did you do best n consistently that brought you happiness. Go back to it. Just do it for your sanity. If you cant do it alone get a friend to help you out or a job aligned with your childhood passion. Yes you can smile everyday. Go out more often, join book clubs or church groups or any positive vibing club. Be a part of their activities. Make sure to engage yourself everyday with other people.
